Next Faultline Chorus Alumnae Quarterly Morning tea / Brunch
Saturday 26 July 2025, 10 – 12am
Boulcott Farm Café
Nine of us got together on Saturday 17 May 2025 with a mixture of current members and alumnae. It was great to catch up on everyone’s news, share our recent contest experience and get insights in our alumnae’s past experiences too!
If any current Chorus members also wish to attend this morning tea/brunch, they are welcome. Just email Selena (not text, FB or Messenger) to let you know whether you’d like to come by COB Wednesday 24 July 2025 and she’ll add you to the invite (if she hasn’t already 😊).
Save the date – August 2025 Film Fundraiser – 5pm 3 August 2025
We’ll be organising another film fundraiser on 3 August 2025. Save this date in your calendars now. We’ll let you know the film option(s) closer to the time.
Faultline are supporters of the NZ Young Singers in Harmony Trust (YSIH NZ). See below for their latest:
2025 NZ Young Singers in Harmony Trust (YSIH) Convention, Lower Hutt Town Hall, 17 and 18 September 2025
The Trust Board has confirmed the above, so mark 17 – 18 September 2025 in your calendars now and come along! Brenda Leasi from Pacific Connection is the 2025 YSIH Convention Coordinator.
Join our fun YSIH NZ Management Team! Coordinator roles still vacant – Marketing and Social Media; Grants; Fundraising and Sponsorship – Expressions of interest close COB Sunday 23 May 2025
We’ve now filled the Finance, Event and Social Media and Marketing Coordinator roles, with the recent addition in May of Kim Miller as YSIH NZ’s new Social Media and Marketing Coordinator. She is also the new SANZ YWIH Coordinator on the YSIH MT and a member of Christchurch City Chorus. We are appreciative of the experience and skillset Kim Miller (Marketing and Social Media), Dhruv Menon (Finance) from Pacific Connection and Manjula Shivanandan (Event) from Wellington City Chorus will bring to these roles.
If you enjoy finding sponsorship or applying for grants, then our above vacant roles are for you.
To find out more and get a copy of the expression of interest form and role profile: Call Brenda Leasi, 2025 Team/Convention Coordinator on 021 150 6457 or email Brenda or call Selena Bernath on 027 273 8045 or email Selena. New members will receive a Management Team induction and mentoring / detailed handover by the people currently doing these roles (ie Brenda, Selena and Abigail Clarke).
2025 YSIH Convention volunteers update
Two Faultline Alumnae are kindly going to assist us on the 2025 YSIH Convention registration desk – Jane Riley and Judy Wilton! Thank you to these two awesome wāhine who will be great in these roles, to support Erin Donohue, our YSIH Wellington regional representative and On the Ground Coordinator at Convention. Shelley Bascand from Faultline Chorus is kindly helping us as Traffic Pattern Lead on Day 2. If you missed out helping in 2024, don’t miss out supporting some of YSIH’s top quartet and chorus barbershoppers this year! Contact Brenda Leasi, 2025 YSIH Convention Coordinator or me if you are interested. All volunteers will receive an online pre-Convention briefing in 2025, including a health and safety induction.
Sponsorship opportunities
If you know of any businesses, groups or individuals that might be open to provide sponsorship, email Selena for more details. We will be putting up sponsorship details on 2 x 75” screens above the risers throughout the Convention and giving sponsors a free double pass to the evening Parade of Champions concert the evening of 18 September 2025.
Donations, bequests
If you know of any businesses, groups or individuals that might be open to provide a donation to assist with the 2025 YSIH Convention costs and help the NZ YSIH Trust create a sustainable future, contact Selena Bernath, NZ YSIH Trust Administrator / Trustee Officers for more details.
The Trust appreciates the support of Faultline Chorus members and alumnae, so that we can create a great experience for our rangatahi barbershoppers from around Aotearoa in 2025!

WOW 2025 Sunday 5 October early afternoon show (Time TBC) – Expressions of Interest for Tickets and Numbers needed by COB Saturday 5 April at the latest for presale tickets
The newly designed WOW stage created an even more amazing experience in 2024! Come and join us for a Dockside Café and Bar pre-show brunch and WOW show this year, so you can experience it for yourself. We had 15 Chorus members, alumnae and friends in 2023 and an intimate Chorus family of 4 in 2024. It’s become an annual Chorus and friends event not to be missed!
Please email Selena (not FB, text or Messenger) with names, how many tickets you would like and whether you want her to book a Dockside brunch seat. This is so she can (hopefully) book good seats together when the presale tickets go on sale from 10am on Sunday 6 April and book the Dockside well in advance to get brunch seats. She will pay in advance via Mastercard and advise of per person cost (approx. $115pp for WOW tickets), which won’t be due to be paid until 11 May 2025. You’ll be sent the Dockside pre-show brunch menu in due course. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to ask Selena.
